Iron Oxide Black

Iron Oxide Black, chemically known as Ferrosoferric Oxide or Iron(II,III) Oxide, with the molecular formula Fe₂O₃·FeO (or Fe₃O₄), is an inorganic pigment characterized by its saturated deep blue-black color. It possesses high hiding power, strong tinting strength, excellent lightfastness, and alkali resistance. These properties make it widely used in the paint industry for paint production and extensively applied in the construction sector for cement coloring, particularly when mixed with cement due to its alkali-resistant properties.
